| nothing more worse than this. what it is, and what should have never been. in the last few its been short. too little. not enough. you know. thats how it rolls sometimes. | | |
| ...in the last few days
trying to learn a lot. stepping on toes to take advance. walking past graves with no names. sliding down the backs of giants. winking in the dark to the one youre crushing. reading crumpled notes you found in the trash. feeding the fish. seeing the field. watching her walk away. scratching an itchy thigh. waving goodbye with a smile and a fistful of dollars. pushing past a stranger on crutches. reloading your gun, one bullet at a time. pouring a drink for me and you. glued to a glowing box. laughing until our heads fall off. leaning in for a secret. standing still with your hands behind your back. talking a lot. catching the seven again. and writing it down so that you never forget it.
who said this was hard. | | |
| nothing important.
hey. you cant join this time. take a step back and redo whats already been done if you want what you want. batteries come in twos. and that grinding sound from the wheel aint making anything any eaiser. theres no foot space. no room to stretch out. theres no time to waste. your future depends on it. be back here before midnight and say what youve done throught the day. drink more water. your body depends on it. tell her you love her. even though she doesnt want to hear it.
| what they said is
put the prescription in my hand. youll find it in the bottom of my belly if you want it back. my ears are on end. i cant hear over the chaos behind me and the clacking of these clickers. in a few ill be seated in front of the room. at the top of the bill. stare. smirk. bat your eyes to let them know your still alive. you can concentrate on what you need. i want to spend a few ticks with you, you little neck breaker. the rooftops are safe around this hour. dont rest your head if it dont need restin. the plain clothes give a stare at my head gear. the normals watch my steps until im outta sight. the youngins dream about my touch only because they dont know any better.
my eyeballs are spinnin outta control. the prescription isnt in full effect quite yet, but im playin like it is. sleeepp. its for those who got a plan. and a plan aint nothing but a list of things that dont happen. the plan b comes into play when the first round is over.
ooooh. the clickin on this clacker is addicting. hey. remember when you used to look to the left and saw what it is you wanted. the left they say. the left is where its at. you. are. a. looney.
| from what i remember
ok. yeah. theres not to be a peep outta you. the deal is done. you said yes without having to say a word. its all in the eyes love.
so i got tricked. swindled. but i aint gonna complain. because now i know how we are going to play. and if you want it that way, well honey, i can sure dish it out that way. so rub it in while the wounds are still fresh. click your heels while the air is still hot. these next moments are going to be me on top. me on top.

we danced until we were outta breath. the night was dead except for us. dancing. dancing.dancing. slow dancing for a mile. im still at 100fter my second wind 30 minutes ago. shes slowing down. she squeezes her eyes tight. giving the last drops of energy shes got. heavy breath now. sharp and hard. sharp and hard. she turned her head so her chin was to her shoulder. she said 'i dont think i can go any longer.'
i stopped instantly.
now were both sprawled on the bed. my left leg is over here. my right arm over there. her head is resting on my stomach. her chest is heaving up and down and its giving me a headache. 'theres a white circle around my sight.' she says. i didnt respond. i was still trying to focus on the celing.
we both fell asleep a few minutes later.
